GOMA's 2nd walk by the lake!

Hi, We went to our 2nd walk by the lake today. It was even nicer day than 1st one! and not so many people around us. Still some people stop by say hello though...one guy told me he wants me to teach his cats to be leash trained so he can take his cats out too! He said his cat is getting fat because he is lack of exercise. Anyway, I have no idea how to leash train your cat or any cat for the matter. But I would say train early, buy a small harness and start putting it on! If you can not find it then you can put shirts or collar, so that cat will get used to having foreign object on their body...so it will be easier when you introduce the harness. That's what I think. I know I exposed him with shirt and collar when he was little so now he doesn't care.
Anyway, walk was good! Goma is more curious now with the surroundings. He will go walk around even more further. Now he really wants to chase bugs and try to examine each flower on the ground...so cute. But when he tried to eat a Bee I have to stop him because the Bee can knock him out! We stayed there about 1 hour and came back home. It was so much fun.

Goma's favorite cooling spot!

hello, I took a weekend off this week but that doesn't mean I stop loving Goma!! I have been busy taking pictures of Goma. We had such a busy weekend together and we have tons of pictures and events to share with you! Anyway, The picture above is Goma resting on Marble I bought for him. This weekend, my room got really hot and humid as usual. I think he got so tired in and out of fridge so this is his new cooling spot. He loves to sleep on it. I recommend anyone who has heat problem at your house, you should consider buying Marble for your pet!! It only cost $6 per sheet of Marble at HomeDepot! It's not bad at all! You buy as many sheet as you want depend on your pet size and tile it to fit anywhere!! I tell you this is better than any cooling mat out there and cheap! Look Goma loves it!

Hello Kitty!!

OMG!! My friend Dana send me this article "Japan's Hello Kitty Cat Humiliation System"....I know we love Hello Kitty but I think this is too much!! It's too cute...Where can I buy this stuff? Are they even for sale?? Well Yes! I found Japanese pet store selling this stuff. Sanrio produced this outfit for limited quantity. It cost about $180. I don't think Goma will like this because this is for girl cat. Maybe if they come up with Doraemon I will buy it! Thanks Dana for sending this! See more picture at Gizmodo page.

GOMA VS SHOE BOX! Pictures!!

I'm uploading new pictures of Goma inside of narrow shoe box. He loves to be in it so much. It's funny how he goes in and all I see is his head and tale!! His body is a shoe box lol! Anyway, my room got so hot last night, I was sweating all night from the heat!! It's funny Goma knows fridge is cold place to be and he will stand in front of the fridge and keep meowing till I open the door for him!! He will stay there for about 40 mins...even those times, I keep the fridge door slightly open so I can see how he is doing...He just sleeps there so comfortably...I think he is so smart to know that fridge is cold...I wish my fridge has a cat door on it so he can just in and out...all the fridge company should think about this!! I will buy it! I am planning to go ride with Goma again this Saturday. it will be really nice out so he will love that!

US cat 'predicts patient deaths'

OMG! my friend Tay send me this article, it is amazing!! This Cat Oscar is supa sweet cat!! He lives in hospital. He predicts patient's death better than nurse or doctor!! I know cat's are very sensitive to human emotions...I heard Himalayan cats are very good at this. My friend has Himalayan cats got very sick and had surgery, but the entire time she was sick, her Himalayans were sleeping around her bed never left her side. It gave her so much emotional support that she recover quickly. As soon as she recover, her cats went on sleeping their usual spot!! I think cat's really know when humans are sick...and they feel like they need to be close to them when they do!!! This is why I love cats!! They are so comforting, fuzzy and cute!! GOMA VS Umbrella

Ok this is funny! Goma somehow likes to attack my red umbrella! He will go under and over...spinning turning the umbrella... He will chase the little string that is attached to the umbrella too. He already have so many toys and he gets bored so easily. It is very important for me to be creative about his toys...umbrella is one, my collection of necklace is another...he already ate up my cute digital camera case!! Anyway, I hope he won't destroy my umbrella...

Hello!! I am uploading another video today. I am sorry it's kind of short...anyway, me and Goma has so much fun! Sunday afternoon, me and Goma went to my friend's gathering and Goma had so much fun!! People siad he is the cutest kitty ever! He is just so good adjusting to new environment. He always knows where the litter box is etc... I wish I could bring him to hiking and beach but I am worry he will get fleas etc... I have another longer video which is so funny!! I gonna upload it tomorrow!! peace.

I saved 3 baby Pigeons today.

I know this is not related to Goma at all, but I have to tell you this story.When I went home for lunch today I heard some baby birds crying. So I went in the direction where the voices were coming from. Then I found 2 really small baby pigeons and one larger pigeons on my neighbor's front door porch!! They were somehow on the ground and their nest were very dirty. People left some bread and apples there but they looked very old. They all looked very confused and sad...especially the larger baby pigeon he/she was just standing near by 2 small babies. I came close to it but didn't even run away...it just kept looking at me with big round eyes! I thought their situation didn't look good at all! They were on the floor any cats can come by and eat them!!
So I went home did some research on animal rescue places.Then I found Green Mountain Animal Defenders. They are working to protect animals and environment. I have no idea at that time they are Pigeons and I didn't even know I was calling the right place...but I did anyways. I told this nice lady about the situation and she said she will swing by and take a look at them!! After about 2 hours she called me back and said she found them on the porch, and it looks like they haven't been fed for a long time by their parents. She had no idea where the parents were....She also said baby pigeons can not eat bread or apple, they have to be hand fed. Now this is the best part, The lady took them home and she fed them so well(they were super hangry she said!), and they are in the clean new nest. She said she will hand-raise them and return them to the wild!! I really really appreciate her work and her organization!! I know some people doesn't like Pigeons, but they are just like any other animals, they deserve a life!! They can't just left to die like that. So sad! So this is my story today.

Oh one more important thing. I will never found them if I rode bike like any other day! I wasn't riding bike today because my bike is in the shop right now...so this is meant to be! I think God heard 3 baby pigions' desparate cry and help them out!!

Hi I am uploading better picture if Goma wearing the polo shirt. I took a lot fo great pictures but I have to choose only 3 for this blog...Now I feel like I should buy red polo shirts and take picture with him!! haha. That will be funny. Ok. as you can see in the pictures his wonderful seal points are becoming more visible. I really can't wait to see how his points will show up. I really think Goma has cuterst round eye that express so much emotions. I pretty much know what he wants just by looking at his eyes!

Hello, I am posting random picture today. I love this shot because he is so flat on the floor!! He sometimes sleeps on the floor like this with his legs spread like that...he also likes to sleep on plastic bags...i guess it makes noise that he likes?? I don't know but it seems he is always sleeping on something. Today I wanted to catch him sleeping when I came back from work so, I quietly enter the home, didn't make any noise at all...and I opened the door Goma was there waiting for me!! I Don't know how he knows it but he knows when I come home. So cute.

This is too much!!

I know I know!!! This is too much cuteness!! I bought this xxs dog polo shirts from old navy yesterday...I know I shouldn't buy anymore things for Goma(he has too much stuff) and he probably won't like this...anyway I just couldn't resist!! When I saw this shirt...I had a picture of Goma wearing this.I just had to see it!! I know I said I will never put weired stuff on Goma because he is not a doll...but this is too much temptation for me. Anyway, once I put it on, Goma didn't really care. He just went on wearing this. I was laughing at him because he looks like a he has a huge head and small shoulder...awww, i feel bad for laughing but I couldn't help it. I think he knows when I make fun of him. He always try to hide when I do that...yeah cat's have a feeling too...i know. I'm so bad. well sorry for the blurry picture...I was cracking up when i took this...I will take better one next time.

Goma eating dry fish VIDEO!!

Hello, I am uploading new video today! This is Goma eating dry fish. Well I bought this item for me at the asian market. When i was eating that Goma wanted to eat them too! So I gave him one. he seemed hooked on this, as soon as he finises one, he wants another and he kept eating...I know dry fish is kind of gross for western people, but in Japan, it is popular snack!! poeple young to old grew to love this!! This dry fish does not have any weired spices on it, it is pure dried fish. Nothing harmful to cat is in it. Anway, I think this video is best one yet! It just came out so good! Enjoy!

My dream has come true!!!

OMG!! Today my long-time dream came true!! I went to walk with Goma today!! Ohh! I am so excited to tell you guys about this!! Today was perfect day for a walk! It wasn't too hot or cold. So I put him in the soft carrier and rode bike to water front close to my work. It is probably 10 minutes ride. Of course he was so quiet and still during the ride. I really think he loves it!! When I got to the park, I stationed myself on the green grass put down the bike, get the leash and put it on Goma's harness. When I opened the top part of the carrier, Goma looked little confused. Looking around responding to all the noises around us. Maybe 2-3 minutes he came out of the carrier started to explore. He lay down on the grass sniffing, looking up the big sky, chasing the big birds with his eyes etc... He pretty much didn't go far stayed within 1-2 feet away from me. I don't even think I needed a leash. He just roll around playing. Some people walk by and say hello to us too. Everybody was really surprised that Goma wasn't running away or scared. People asked me how I trained him to be on the leash and staying clam the entire time. I didn't know what to answer because he just this way since he was little...I didn't have to do anything. Anyway, he was so relaxed, as if he was in the house! We stayed outside like 45 minutes and came back home. I had so much fun with Goma today that I think I will be going outside with him every weekend. Those pictures I took today at the park. As you can see he just loves outside!! Right now he is sleeping I think he had too much fun!

Goma and poop again!!

When I get home today from work...the room smelled like...you know POOP! As soon as I catch Goma and look at him bottom and found a huge dangling poop!! So I needed to wash him again! Goma hates taking baths so it was so hard to give him bath...anyway, the poop was already been on Goma's butt for so long...so it was dry!! It was so hard to get it off!! I must tell you he scratched me so much that my hands are now full of new scratch marks... It's all good though he is just too cute. I wonder if he will be able to poop without making mess at his bottom...I should ask Suzette, Goma's breeder. Maybe I need to give him a hair cut so the hair around his bottom isn't so long...anyway the pictures above were taken right after I gave him bath. He loves to mingle with towels! So cute!! Oh I bought this towel for goma. It's his towel. I should draw his face on it!! Thanks for reading:-)

Hello! Goma somehow likes this teddy bear of mine...He sometimes stay besides of this poor bear sleeping. Goma must think the bear is his buddy...because it is only fury thing in my house besides his feather toys... It is amazing how he waits for me at the house, even i leave him more than 8 hours. Evey time I open the door, he is ready to sneak out!! When he does get out...oh boy, he knows how to get to the stairs and end of the hall...he is super fast I can't never catch him!! Who knew Himalayan cats are fast?? Anyway, I have to leave him tonight again because I came back to work...and started to rain so bad. I am hoping I can go home soon...Oh, Suzette, Goma's breeder has new kitten's photo up in her web site!! Ohhh, it's sooooo cute!! There are so many cute pictures all look like Goma!! Konnichiwa! I have a video tonight to share! It's funny he got tired of old box so I got a new one, and he loves it! It conveniently has small hole that Goma can get his hands in and out. So cute! It's so cute how he fits right into the shoe box lol!

Every morning I love how Goma wakes me up...It's the most wonderful thing in the world!! He walk around my face and purrr and start kissing and touching my face gently. Goma look-alikes??

Hi! I get a lot of comments about Goma looks like some famous characters. So I decided to compare. What do you guys think?? Does Goma look like them? I am open to any other suggestions as well if you have any... let me know! I will be uploading Video about Goma playing with shoe box soon! Goma's first Vet visit+Bike ride!!!

Today, Goma went to his first Vet visit to get 3rd shot and general health exam. The Vet is called "Cats Vermont" it is very close to my house, probably 6-10 blocks away from my house. Anyway, I rode a bike today with Goma!! I have a soft carrier which is small enough to carry on my back. So I put Goma in the carrier put in on my back and rode bike!! Well, Goma was soooo good during the bike ride, actually he didn't even move a bit. He was just enjoying his first bike ride. I think he loves it because he can see different things and feel the fresh wind. For me it was so easy, it's like normal bike ride! so comfortable. I should do that more often go around the town with Goma!!

Well, the Vet visit was so pleasant one for both me and Goma! The doctor examed Goma and weigh him, check his ear, stomach and under the tail etc... she said he only has one testicle so I need to wait one more month till other one appear...lol!! well she said it sometimes happen to kittens...poor guy. So I need to wait one months till have him nutered...Anyway, she weighed Goma and he is 3.15Ib! which is 1.4Kg! Wow!! He is a big guy!! He grown so much past 2-3 weeks!! The doctor said too that he is heavy for 4 months kitten!! haha. The doctor said overall goma is very healthy and gave him 3rd shot. That was it! I was soooooo glad that he is healthy!! I am so proud! The picture above is in side of examination room, waiting for the doctor to arrive. Goma is just curious and sniffing around...so cute.

GOMA and his new buddy Squid

Hi! I have a picture of Goma playing with Vanessa and Eric's cat Squid. Squid is 2 year-old but he is big! at least compare to Goma! It was so funny Squid closely watch Goma and follow him around the housem and Goma totally ignoreing him. Later on, Goma wanted to play with Squid so he tries to jump on him but he did not succeed most of the time(he is just too slow...) It was so sad now Goma doesn't have any friends in the house...Can anyone read this blog have cat(s) invite Goma over?? He is super good with other cats and he will use his litter box even the enviroment change. Anyway, I know he sometimes act like he is looking for them...Oh I got to tell you this! Now Goma officially knows how to groom himself!! He will lick his fur and his paw and move on to his face...I was waching that last night! He make me so proud! I also have a video I can share the moment with you!

July 4th Trip+Goma cleaning my bathroom sink VIDEO!

Hello! I hope you guys had a great July 4th day!We had a big fireworks on 3rd at Burlington. I live really close to the Champlain lake and the sound of fireworks is really loud and scary. Well that's what I thought for a little cat like Goma. Well, Goma really didn't care! I hope he is not deaf...Anwyay, I went to stay with my friend's(Vanessa and Eric) house on July 4th and they have 2 adult cats of their own. Also Vanessa's sister JO has one cat. so total, we had 4 cats(including Goma!). I was really worry that adult cats will fight Goma but they actually got along okay!! Amazing!! Thank God!! Vanessa and Eric's house is big so Goma gets to run around the house, hiding and eating their plants...I think Goma had such a great time with their cats. Especially Squid, 2 year-old male orange cat he will follow Goma around and just watch him. I think Goma wanted to play with him but Squid was too confused to even think about playing woth Goma....Eric told me Squid never saw a kitten before so maybe that is why. But my entire stay, Squid has been babysitting Goma making sure he doesn't do anything bad...such a good cat. At one point we had to leave them at the house for 3-4 hours. When we came back Goma was just having a blast with other cats! I am so proud of Goma and other cats in the house! They have been so great with Goma! Anwyay Goma really really liked their house, he was having so much fun I don't think he slept last night al all...Now I feel bad for Goma becuase I don't have a big place and no playmates. Goma must be really bored now...Anyway, it was great July 4th, me and Goma had so much fun! Thanks to my friend Vanessa and Eric! I will be updating the pciture of Goma and Squid playing soon! Okay I have a new picture of Goma chilling inside of the bathroom sink. many of you know the story already (posted few days ago). He looks so funny how he just fits right into the tiny sink!! He didn't know how to get up there few days ago but now he does!! he is learning so much. Right now his absolutely favorite thing is cardboard box! He just loves being near it. He goes inside and on top of it trying to catch my fingers!! So cute! He especially love when I scratch the box with feather toy. I never thought we gonna have a so much fun with cardboard box!! I have some video Goma trying to catch the feather toy I will update it soon!!

Interview with Goma's daddy TONKA!

1.What is your name?
Tonka. My human mommy named me that because I was a big kitten when she bought me... big and solid like a truck.

2.How old are you?
I am 3 yrs old.

3.What do you do for living?
I have many jobs, one being to patrol the house every night looking for bugs and mice to kill, but thank goodness I have never found a mouse in my house as I think that it would scare me but I have killed 2-3 flies in my life time, also a couple ants, which I am very proud of.

This is my most important job- I keep my human mom company by following her every where she goes, if she is in the livingroom I am there keeping her companion, if she is in the bedroom... yeap I am there too.

My next "job"is stud muffin... but about 95% of the time my girls just ignore me and most times when I am singing to them they just look at me like I am crazy. It makes me sad as I want all my feline girls to think I am one handsome boy!

4. What are your special skills?
Looking cute.
I also know some human words, I am a very smart cat...

5. Are you worry about something lately?
Life is good.... I am a very happy go lucky type of fellow but I wish my girl-friends would like me more.....

6. Have anyone told you you look like somebody?
My girlfriend, Star (but she is ignoring me lately) told me one day that I looked like Garfield the Cat but she was angry at me that day and was just being mean... I DO NOT look like Garfield, I am much much more handsome and dashing than that old tabby cat!

7. Are you shy or social?
Social, I love everyone (human and girl cats). I do not like male cats.

8. Do you listen to others?
Well as you may know I am a cat.... and as with all felines I have selective hearing, but my human mom tells me that I could hear the cat food being put in a dish a 100 miles away...

9. Do you gamble?
No, I would like to though but I am a cat and do not know how to drive. My human mom tells me often how smart I am so maybe someday she will teach me.

10. What is your favorite and least favorite food?
I love chicken, that is my favorite- skinless and boiled (no salt or pepper on it though). I just tried freezed dried turkey hearts (YUMMY) and of course fish is very tasty. I am not very picky and will eat most anything that is put in front of me though.

I do not like vegetables much... but I am a cat, and why in the world would I like vegetables??... some are not good for me either.

11. What is your ideal girl-friend like?
I have several girlfriends already but it makes me sad how they just ignore me all the time. Sometimes they even run away from me. So my ideal girl-friend would be one that would rub my back, play silly chasing games with our toys, cuddle with me and be in heat all the time....
